How do I charge with Elton?
Connect the car to the charging station
Some cars have an adapter and can therefore charge with more charging types than what is standard. The dealer should inform you about this.
Press "Charge the car" in the Elton app
You'll find the button at the very bottom of the app, or when you have pressed on a charging station in the charging map. Select the charger you have connected to from the list.
Start charging
Select payment method and press "Start charging". It may take a few seconds for charging to start.
End charging in the appTo end a charging session, press "Stop charging". Some car models require that you also end the charging from inside the car. If you can't disconnect the charging cable after ending a charging session, it's most likely because you need to end it manually from the car as well.
Get receiptAll receipts and your charging history can also be found under "Your profile" which you can find under "Profile" in the menu at the bottom of the app.

Where can I charge?
With Elton, you can charge at all charging stations operated by operators we have partnerships with. As of today, we have over 78,000 charging points in the app and partnerships with Allego, Circle K, Clever, Eon, EVbox, Ionity, KLataus, Kople, Monta, OKQ8, Uno-X, Porsche, Powered by Eon & Clever, Ragde Charge, Recharge, Spirii, EBS Charge, Ishavsveien, Virta, Mer and Tesla. Our goal is to bring together all chargers in the Nordic region in one common charging app. We add new charging stations every single day, so stay tuned!
Do I need a RFID chip?
You don't need to use an RFID chip when charging your car with Elton. Neither does Elton have a chip you can order.
"Can I register other RFID chips in Elton?" No. We want to provide a digital and simple charging experience. Therefore, you don't need to register physical chips in the app to charge your car.What does it cost?
Charging prices depend on charging point operator, charging station and speed. When you scan a charger in Elton, you will see the price of the specific charger.
When you initiate a charging session, Elton will make a reservation of 150 NOK if you pay by card and 500 NOK if you pay by Vipps. When charging is complete, we will adjust the amount to what is actually owed, and release the rest to you. If you pay by card we wil release the correct amount within 24 hours. It can take up to seven days until you see the correct amount in your account, depending on your bank.
